Can't Let Go by OPI

So you might notice that my last post was not Can't Let Go by OPI as previously promised but Halographic by Color Club. Apparently I do not know my alphabet at all! Apologies for the confusion.

Can't Let Go by OPI is part of the Mariah Carey Liquid Sand Collection. I was bought this set of OPI miniatures for Mothers Day. Although not normally a huge glitter fan, I was curious as to how the matte effect of the glitter would work.  The miniature versions seemed the way to go, as they would not cost the earth if I didn't like them and I got to try out all four different colours.

Can't Let Go is a purple with matte glitter.  The colour is nice but the effect is strange, it just looks gritty (well I suppose it is liquid sand!). I can't quite decide whether I like the effect or not.

The texture of the polish is what puts me off the most though. The feel of my nails when they catch together is like fingernails on a chalk board, it just goes through me. The glitter also requires the tin foil trick to remove the polish, no way was it coming off without doing it that way.

The jury is still out for me on the liquid sand polishes.  We'll see whether I like the other three.
Next up is Get Your Number by OPI.
Until then,
Lealea x
