In Awe of Amber by China Glaze

I bought this nail polish from ebay so did not see the true colour until it arrived in the post.  The colour in the bottle is a beautiful amber/copper colour with tiny glitter particles which make the bottle shine.  I was quite excited to try this on my nails.  Shame then, that I was left a little disappointed with it.  The colour is just a bit brassy, a little orangy/gold.

The consistency of this polish is a little thin, it took three to four coats to achieve full coverage.  Furthermore it has a very strong smell, as other China Glaze polishes have, a bit overpowering.  Due to the glitter particles, it does take a bit of extra work to get off, but not as much a full glitter polishes do.

All in all I like to look at the polish in the bottle more than I do on the nails.  Maybe I'll just keep it to look at!!
